aboutus

Let’s face it, there are few things more frustrating than when our body doesn’t work the way we expect it to. For too many people, loss of mobility or pain associated with motion are facts of life, but they don’t have to be. As a physical therapist, I help clients recover their normal function. My approach to physical therapy is derived from an educational background that began in India. I earned a degree in Physical Therapy from Bombay University in 1985. I further enhanced the scope of my knowledge and ability with studies in England and the United States.

I am currently a part of the faculty of Beth Israel Medical Center where I create a continuing educational program that provides specific physical therapy. I regularly consult with members of the medical staff at New York University, Hospital for Special Surgery, Columbia Presbyterian, and Lenox Hill Hospitals in New York City.

I focus on hands-on techniques, such as stretching, soft tissue mobilization and other manual therapy techniques to treat my patients. In addition, I employ treatment modalities including ultrasound, muscle stimulation, TENS as and when needed.

The treatment received by our clients at Back Rx will be derived largely through constant assessment after every technique. Each patient will be individually assessed, both before and after each treatment, to ensure that our patients receive targeted care that is specific to their condition.

Patient treatment is at the heart of our success here at Back Rx. We know that individualized treatment offered in a consistent manner is the best way to insure that your recovery is successful and complete.
